Celestyal has expanded its shore excursion program in the Middle East, according to a press release.

Sailings aboard the Celestyal Discover will include new options in Ras Al Khaimah tours as well as additional options in Abu Dhabi and Dubai as part of its new-for-2025 “Iconic Arabia” itineraries.

This announcement comes in the wake of Celestyal signing a three-year agreement with the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, and as it’s set to launch its new three-, four- and seven-night “Iconic Arabia” cruises from December 12, 2025. These cruises will sail round-trip from the winter homeport of Abu Dhabi.

“Our new ‘Iconic Arabia’ shore excursions offer what we call a true backstage travel pass to the Arabian Gulf – giving guests insider access to the rich tapestry of culture, history, and natural beauty that defines the region. From the futuristic skyline of Dubai to the serene shores of Sir Bani Yas Island and the treasures of Ras Al Khaimah, each experience, led by our incredibly knowledgeable team, connects travellers with the authentic spirit of the destination,” said Lee Haslett, chief commercial officer at Celestyal.

The Celestyal Discovery’s ports of call will include Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, as well as Qatar, Doha, Oman, Khasab and Dubai, UAE, and Sir Bani Yas Island.

The new Celestyal shore excursion program offers half-day, full-day and two-day options, featuring what the cruise line calls “Authentic Encounters.” These will provide unique experiences with local attractions and people in small-group settings.

One of the expected highlights of the shore excursion program is a full-day, $260-per-person guided tour to the heart of Ras Al Khaimah. This will include a scenic desert dunes drive and stops at the royal camel racing stables and the Emirati date farm.

Another highlight is the $123 per person day tour of the House of Pearls by Suwaidi Pearls, which includes a visit to Ras Al Khaimah’s Old Town and Dhayah Fort.

There is also an opportunity to participate in two half-day tours. The first option, at $79 per person, includes a visit to the Museum of the Future, a ride on Ain Dubai’s observation wheel, and a scenic drive to Zabeel Palace.

The second is $139 per person and allows guests to explore their appetites with a food and culture tour of Abu Dhabi. There is also a full-day tour on Yas Island for $153 per person for those who want to enjoy Abu Dhabi’s water park.
