Pamela Sigler TOUR OPERATORS: Pamela Sigler has joined tailor-made travel specialist Audley Travel as regional sales director for the Central U.S. region. Sigler will work alongside recently appointed regional sales directors for the northern, southern and western regions and Cathy Kusuma Bennis, vice president and head of trade sales and partnerships, North America. With more than a decade of experience in the sector, Sigler brings her industry knowledge and strategic insight to the role as she drives regional trade sales growth to the states she will oversee, including Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas and Wisconsin. "We welcome Pam and her wealth of experience to the team at Audley," said Kusuma Bennis. Sydney Tukel CRUISES: Riviera Travel has named Sydney Tukel as regional sales director, overseeing the Southeastern U.S. This news comes as part of Riviera's North American market expansion, which has included new product launches and the opening of its first national office in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. With lifelong roots in travel and a passion for cruising, Tukel brings a perspective to Riviera's sales team. Previously, Tukel served as a business development manager for Carnival Cruise Lines, developing strategic marketing campaigns, representing the brand at key industry events, fostering trade partnerships and helping increase revenue growth while managing a portfolio of more than 350 accounts. During her time with Carnival Cruise Lines, she achieved 100 percent or more portfolio growth over seven consecutive quarters and grew key account partners by 10 percent year-over-year.As regional sales director, Tukel will support Riviera Travel's sales team to further increase visibility throughout the Southeast, cultivating relationships with travel advisors and playing a role in accelerating sales growth. This summer, Riviera Travel celebrated the inaugural sailings of Riviera Rose and Riviera Radiance, two vessels boasting the brand's new split-level design. In September, the company announced the world's first ever fully dedicated solo river cruise ship and its expansion to Asia on the Mekong river, with both programs launching in 2027. Tim Walker HOTELS: Tim Walker has been hired as chief legal officer at Xanterra Travel Collection, a hospitality and travel company with a portfolio spanning national parks, luxury resorts, small-ship cruises, rail adventures and guided tours around the world. In this role, Walker will lead Xanterra's Legal and Environmental Health & Safety divisions and serve as a member of the company's executive leadership team. He will oversee all legal, compliance, risk management and governance matters across Xanterra's portfolio, which includes Grand Canyon National Park Lodges, The Oasis at Death Valley and Windstar Cruises. "Tim brings a wealth of experience in the hospitality and travel industry, with a proven ability to navigate complex legal environments while leading high-performing teams," said Andy Todd, president and CEO, Xanterra. "His strategic insight and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to expand our global operations and uphold our commitment to sustainability, safety, and exceptional guest experiences." Walker joins Xanterra after spending a decade with Vail Resorts, where he most recently served as vice president and deputy general counsel. In that role, he oversaw a legal team supporting global resort and hospitality operations across four countries, spanning investigations, litigation, guest claims, insurance, Environmental Health & Safety guidance, employment and labor law, crisis management and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Vail Resorts, Walker served as counsel at Tucker Ellis LLP in Denver and as a partner and associate at Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP in Chicago, where he managed commercial litigation and intellectual property disputes for national and international clients. He began his career at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, P.C. in Denver and clerked for the Honorable Jane A. Tidball in Colorado's First Judicial District. Walker earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Villanova University. Chef Edwin Scholly Edwin Scholly has been appointed as executive chef at The Hythe, a Luxury Collection Resort, Vail in Vail, Colo. With more than three decades of global experience and accolades, including 24 years at the White House and James Beard Award winner, Scholly brings experience and a passion for developing the next generation of chefs. At The Hythe, Scholly oversees the resort's four dining concepts and banquets: Revel Lounge, Margie's Haas, Mountain Ration and 10th Mountain. Scholly's menus reflect the mountain spirit and alpine camaraderie of Vail, blending European tradition with modern local Colorado flavors. "The Hythe embodies the mountain's natural beauty and welcoming spirit — it's an honor to create cuisine that mirrors that," said Scholly. "My approach to cooking and teaching is the same: it's about honoring craftsmanship, fostering connection, and creating moments that stay with people long after they leave the table." Raised in his family's hotel, restaurant and vineyard in Heidelberg, Germany, Scholly began his career apprenticing under Paul Bocuse in Lyon, France. He went on to earn the title of Master Chef in Germany, receive a James Beard Award in 2011 and achieve certifications as a Sommelier, ACF Executive Chef and Certified Culinary Educator. Most recently, Scholly served as the executive chef at Craddock Terry Hotel in Lynchburg. Outside the kitchen, Scholly is an advocate for culinary mentorship. He leads The Hythe's Chef Apprenticeship Program, a registered initiative through the Colorado Department of Labor offering hands-on training. As the only program of its kind in the state, the certified journeyman program provides aspiring chefs with training in a hospitality environment. Participants earn certification through World Association of Chefs' Societies along with credits towards a bachelor's degree in culinary arts.
