MSC Cruises has revealed a new list of entertainment activities at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the company’s private island in the Bahamas, which will be rolled out from January 2026.
The additions will complement the existing offerings of snorkeling, paddleboarding and jet skiing at the island.
The company said in a press release that the line-up of new experiences includes the following:
Wellness and Sports
Two professional coaches from MSC Cruises’ ships based in the U.S. will lead daily wellness and sports programs on the island.
These include a fire-and-ice challenge with hot yoga and ice baths and sunrise yoga paired with sound-healing meditation.
Augmented Reality Treasure Hunt
Guests can participate in an educational augmented reality (AR) treasure hunt suitable for all ages.
Using their mobile phones or tablets, guests can discover a range of wooden sculptures around Ocean Cay that can be scanned to trigger an AR storytelling function.
Each location is focused on a specific ecological issue and the measures MSC Cruises is taking to address it, in line with Ocean Cay’s commitment to marine conservation.
Children can also learn about the island’s fish, flora and fauna.
Lego Pop Up
Families will be welcomed to Ocean Cay with a Lego activation at the island’s Welcome Pavilion, featuring seven Lego mascots and MSC Cruises’ own mascot, Doremi.
Ocean Cay has eight beaches and a new Marine Conservation Centre where guests can learn about the MSC Foundation’s coral conservation efforts at the island.
