The Aroya is set to debut in Southeast Asia in early 2026 with a series of cruises between Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.
The operation will be part of a partnership between Aroya Cruises and IslamiCruise, a Malaysia-based tour operator.
According to the company’s website, the Aroya will offer four itineraries that either sail from or to Malaysia.
The schedule starts with a 13-night cruise that is set to depart from the Saudi port of Jeddah on January 17, 2026.
The itinerary features visits to destinations in Oman, the Maldives and Indonesia before ending in Port Klang.
Once in Malaysia, the Aroya is set to offer two-night cruises that feature a visit to the Langkawi Cruise Terminal. Two departures are scheduled, on Jan. 31 and Feb. 2, 2026.
The ship’s short season in Southeast Asia ends with a repositioning cruise back to Saudi Arabia that sails from Port Klang on Feb. 4, 2026.
Sailing to Southeast Asia, the Indian Ocean and the Middle East, the 13-night cruise features visits to Indonesia, the Maldives and Oman before arriving in Jeddah.
According to IslamiCruise, the cruises will offer a “unique blend of modern luxury and cultural exploration” with itineraries inspired by “legendary sea voyages.”
The company also highlighted the onboard product, which is said to be 100 percent sharia-compliant.
As a result, there will be no casino and no alcohol onboard, while all food served in restaurants will be “halalan toyyiban.”
The cruises will offer an all-inclusive experience, IslamiCruise added, which features premium drink packages, shore excursions and basic Wi-Fi.
As previously reported by Cruise Industry News, the Aroya is also scheduled to debut in the Arabian Gulf in 2026, with a series of cruises departing from Dubai and Dammam.
Taking place between February and May, the five- to seven-night itineraries feature visits to destinations in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Qatar.
