SpecTec Cruise announced that the company has rebranded as Veridian. The rebrand was inspired by the blue-green hues of the ocean on which its customers’ ships operate.

Malcolm Youngson, CEO of Veridian, said: “Cruise operators are navigating rapid evolution: greener ships, smarter operations and expanding fleets and offerings.”

“Technology is a crucial enabler of this transformation, and our rebrand to Veridian reflects our renewed focus on helping customers meet these challenges head-on. We’re here to deliver real value through technology innovation, agility and results,” added Youngson.

“Our new brand is more than a name change; it’s a signal to our customers that we’re evolving with them. We’re investing in the future to ensure they have the tools, insights, and support they need to thrive.”

The company, which offers the cruise asset management software AMOS, said in a press release that with over 70 percent market share and decades of experience, Veridian focuses on helping its customers unlock new levels of operational efficiency, safety and compliance.

Veridian added that customers can expect new developments, such as next-generation AMOS-X software.

“AMOS-X is the embodiment of Veridian’s mission to empower cruise operators through innovation,” said Youngson.

“It’s been developed with our customers’ long-term goals in mind, delivering a more intuitive and streamlined user experience, unlocking powerful data-driven insights, and integrating emerging technologies to help operators truly optimize how their vessels are managed and maintained,” Youngson added.

The company said that while the rebrand brings several changes, Veridian maintains its commitment to collaboration, reliability and delivering solutions.
