P&O Cruises has introduced new five-berth cabins onboard the Arvia, Britannia and Iona in a bid to make holidays at sea easier and better for bigger families.

Fifty five-berth cabins are being introduced across the three ships.

The expanded accommodation choices will be available from summer 2026 and include balcony cabins and conservatory mini suite cabins for families of five, the company said in a statement.

Ruth Venn, P&O Cruises’s associate vice president for sales and distribution, said: “Demand for multi-generational holidays is as strong as ever, and P&O Cruises offers holidays for adventure-seeking teenagers to relaxation-minded parents and everyone in between.”

“The introduction of five-berth cabins on the Arvia, Britannia and Iona opens up even more opportunities for our valued travel agent partners, and these new cabins remove one of the biggest booking barriers for larger families, making it easier than ever to find the right accommodation at the right value,” added Venn.

“As always, we’re committed to supporting agents maximizing sales opportunities, and we’re confident our new five-berth cabins will prove hugely popular for 2026 and beyond.”

The company added that the introduction of extended family-friendly cabins is part of P&O Cruises’ continued commitment to delivering flexible holidays for families of all ages and sizes.
