AIDA has showcased its Christmas sailings for 2025, revealing select highlights that guests can expect from the sailings:
Festive Atmosphere with No Stress
The AIDAnova and AIDAprima will be transformed into winter worlds with a maritime Christmas market. The other nine ships are also festively decorated.
International Festive Cuisine
The company said that its kitchen crews will provide guests with festive Christmas menus, international specialities and classic favorite dishes to complement the offering.
There will also be activities for families with children, including baking cookies and making crafts.
Families benefit from a wide selection of dishes, where everyone can find the right dish for their preferences.
No Planning or Cleaning up
AIDA said that the ambience onboard is designed to give guests time for the special moments.
The crew will see to everything from the Christmas ambience to the table decorations.
Santa Claus on the High Seas
The company said that Christmas Eve is one of the special experiences for children, and they will receive a visit from Santa Claus, who will distribute the gifts they have brought with them.
The Kids Club will also unveil several surprises.
Onboard Entertainment
The onboard program ranges from Christmas singing to the big Christmas gala and a New Year’s Eve celebration.
There will also be changing evening shows and creative workshops, such as making Froebelstern.
Shared Experiences for Young and Old
According to the company, a special highlight is the 200-square-meter Christmas-lit ice-skating rink on AIDAprima.
Time for Oneself
AIDA said that its cinnamon infusion in the sauna with a view of the sea, or a treatment in the Body & Soul Spa, are a few examples of highlights that one can experience on their own.
“While the children get together at the Kids Club for the sleep story, adults can enjoy a walk on deck or a romantic dinner in the restaurant,” AIDA said.
New Year’s Eve at Sea
The fleet will provide guests with live entertainment, atmospheric shows and an extensive range of activities for children and teens on New Year’s Eve.
Guests can expect a mix of a caviar buffet, midnight snacks and an extensive New Year’s breakfast.
The AIDAbella offers a unique experience with the New Year’s Eve fireworks display off the coast of Funchal, Madeira.
